Klondike Ferry

What we refer to as "The Hill" where everyone goes to make a call
This is how I feel when I am there:)

These are local Vegan women (who eat meat)
I told them a bear had just crossed the path but they didn't care

We were sitting by the fire one night and about 30 big units pulled in.

View from the hill

Heather and I had earlier pulled the grey 4RUNNER out of the muskeg.

Every spring, Heather cleans the washroom at the main campsite.

The Ferry Captian

We stumbled on a geocache here at the end of a trail.

This is Pete, we met him and his friends out there this summer.

What, no helmut?  What kind of example are you setting Heather??

When we can pry the kids from their screens and drag them out, we do.

Probably the most popular picnic spot.  Recognize it.

Careful honey

The west campsite, popular for its water features and less traffic

Good friends made an amazing cake for us to celebrate our
15th wedding anniversary

Timeu hall on Range Road 50

On Glacier Pond

Met a young scaffolder this year, Justin.   We have become quadding buddies and have went several times since.

Here our Honda is about 3' below the water line.

This is what we refer to as the 'Clay Ruts'.  About 1 kilometre across and not far from the main campsite

This we found in one of the 5 cabins we have discovered so far

I love this place which is about half way to Shallow Lake on a lesser traveled trail

This is what we believe is an old abandoned still.  It is just steps off the trail but almost impossible to find.
Message me if you want directions

This is referred to as George's hill.  It's quite close to where the Timeu Creek meets the Athabasca but not to be
confused with Pop Can Hill or Tin Cup

Shallow Lake, no idea how it got its name
